Effective Date: October 24, 2023. These terms outline the rules and regulations for the use of D & V Soluciones en Madera's services and website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and utilizing our custom carpentry services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of D & V Soluciones en Madera.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services or accessing our site. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Services Description

D & V Soluciones en Madera provides high-end, artisanal carpentry and architectural wood solutions based in Cajicá, Colombia. Our services include but are not limited to: custom furniture design, architectural millwork, restoration, and residential woodworking installations.

All projects are subject to individual contracts which may contain specific terms regarding timelines, materials, and payment schedules. The information provided on this website is for illustrative purposes and does not constitute a formal binding quote.

3. Intellectual Property

The designs, sketches, 3D models, and architectural drawings created by D & V Soluciones en Madera remain the exclusive intellectual property of the firm. Our artisanal techniques and "custom carpentry designs" are protected under Colombian copyright and industrial property laws.

Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the final physical product for its intended purpose. However, the reproduction or commercial exploitation of our proprietary designs without express written consent is strictly prohibited.

4. User Obligations

As a user or client, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information regarding project requirements and site conditions.
Ensure that site locations for installations comply with safety standards and local regulations.
Maintain the wood products according to the "Care & Maintenance" guidelines provided upon delivery.
Refrain from using our brand name or images of our work in a way that implies endorsement without prior authorization.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, D & V Soluciones en Madera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services.

Wood is a natural material subject to variations in grain, color, and texture. Such natural characteristics are not considered defects. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper maintenance, humidity fluctuations in the user's environment, or unauthorized modifications to our pieces.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cajicá or Bogotá D.C.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
